As we start gathering information to educate ourselves about SB 840, we realize we have so much to learn. One of the many purposes of this blogsite is to provide a central location to access information about the progress toward achieving single-payer healthcare in California.

Although some candidates might be referring to their plans as "Universal Healthcare," none of them truly fulfill the goal to provide guaranteed comprehensive healthcare. None of our candidates are proposing a single-payer healthcare system. Let's keep educating our legislators as to why we firmly believe that single-payer healthcare is ultimately the system in which we feel will we will be able to provide the most comprehensive and highest quality of care to our state.
