Lobby Day was incredibly energizing and educational. For the third year in a row, over 300+ health professional students from all over California came together to lobby in favor of SB 840. This is a picture of the UCSF contingent, nursing and medical students, enthusiastically lobbying on the steps of the state capitol in Sacramento.
Our legislators heard us chanting and cheering outside. They also heard from us inside the capitol in their offices where we had a chance to meet "one-on-one" with many of our assembly people and senators.
